Working in a private psychiatric practice taught me very early in my career the value of empathy and patience. I communicated directly with a broad spectrum of patients. It was paramount to remain calm in high-stress and emergency situations. I believe my task-oriented approach to business was conceived through this type of work. Hard skills were foundational in keeping operations afloat, while soft skills were key to offering value.
